KELLYS RAZOR is an enduro helmet I designed in 2014. My role in this project was to create a unique design and a 3D model for mass production. In close cooperation with the R&D department from KELLYS, we were focused on creating a helmet with a significant design while maximizing safety for any rider.

KELLYS RAZOR is an enduro helmet I designed in 2014. My role in this project was to create a unique design and a 3D model for mass production. In close cooperation with the R&D department from KELLYS, we were focused on creating a helmet with a significant design while maximizing safety for any rider.
The design idea was to create a strong design element. After considering various ideas, we chose a theme with a side line, which was quite unique at that time and looks cool (i think :D). We could also added more material around this side weaker head part to offer a stronger frame.
Out of this side line, KELLYS team created two versions of this helmet: one traditional and the second one with the MIPS system. This system enhances safety during an impact with the floor.

For adrenaline riders, we created a flat surface on the top of the helmet for a camera holder and shield, which is possible to move into three basic positions.
The result is a helmet that I had the opportunity to design, model, and ultimately test on myself for many years. While I recognize that time has moved on, and trends have shifted, the functionality and safety, which I personally tested, were excellent.
